Time Travel?

Lt.Overload

Rear Admiral
Another thing that got me wondering, other than time slowing down/stopping in some Jump Points, do we know of any Time Travel devices created? Or at least was Confed (or the Black Lance, Border Worlds, Empire Of Kilrah, etc.) trying to make it?

The Tri-System's Nuke'ems keep the shooting ship from being destroyed by warping it into the future after the blast.

Time travel in Privateer 2 is a great example of cultural... something.

British Version:
"The device carries a small synchronic temporal warp generator which at the point of detonation throws you marginally forward in time after the blast, giving you escape from the carnage... The Campaign for Real Time considered this weapon to be a breach of most time laws and lobbied against its legality, until one day, quite by accident, a rogue Nuke 'em landed on their offices during an annual general meeting."

American Version:
"Includes a small Synchronic Temporal Warp generator which protects your ship from the blast."

I have a strong desire to add a million Privateer 2 entries to the Wingkipedia /right now/...

That was sorta why I've been asking about the cloaking, time travel, etc., To help out and get people thinking about the less noticeable things in WC and add them to the pedia.

I love how rich the WC universe is. For all the gaps, there's a ton of detail out there.

Yup, for even tiny things there is a whole lot of detail.

Execpt who exactly died on the Tiger's Claw, that's the only real thing that bugs me about the early games.

Yes, well a thousand years into the future would be sufficient for somebody to finish that damn game :D

British humor is awesomeness.
