Hmm, actually that Sabre model looks quite a bit like the original model built for Wing2. So maybe the textures was just spruced up a bit like Privateer did with the Broadsword, though I still wonder where the Hornet came from.

They are not MP3s. They are uncompressed music streams stored in... well, MUSIC.STR, if I recall correctly.

And being that the re-orchestrated music and sound effects are one of the defining characteristics of the Kilrathi Saga re-release, yes, the PC Gamer disc includes these.

I think it's an issue related to Windows 7 64-bit...

Try:
- Launch the game
- ALT+TAB back to desktop
- Bring up Task Manager [CTRL] + [ALT] + [DEL]
- End task explorer.exe
- ALT+TAB back to game.

When you want to get the Windows shell back, just bring up task manager again: Click 'File' then 'New Task/Run' then type EXPLORER.

Yes, I agree. DDHack should fix this, but if it doesn't I'd definitely give this suggestion a shot.
