Answer to the saxman thing before. Saxman is a title given to a group of more contemporary sax players. Generally this group would be described as the latest "Jazz Cats" usually capible of improvising well, doubling on all the saxes, and being able to do things that the instrument wasn't designed to do (example of altissimo notes, harmonics, growling, and the other jazz sax idioms) well enough to incorporate easily into ones playing.

Basically, what the really good new sax players are called.
