Hehe... no you can't... there are a few different ways LOAF's explained it in there. I very much doubt any of them are true.

Hehe, I liked that.
Oh dear, that was completely lost on me until you quoted him.

Haven't bothered reading the Book of LOAF, but from the bits I've read, it just looks like a gigantic chunk of nonsensical conversation. And LOAF laughs his head off because he can get us to read such rubbish. :)

Even better if you know the context under which each line was created. The Book of LOAF is a collection of wise random responses LOAF made to various discussions. Too bad the Book only records what LOAF said. Some of the conversation were interesting.

akashra, yes, but LOAF never wrote to the Book himself. Other's, mostly Chris Reid, saved the verses and maintained them.

Loaf didn't write The Book because he had his loyal followers do it for him! Now, they actually did a good job, and some of it almost makes cents. But the book doesn't make dollars. Not yet anyway. Perhaps when the hardback version hits store shelves..............

Speaking of coffee, I read an interview with the creator of Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys a while back. They were doing the voice work for the show in this dumpy little shack of a recording studio and they always sent Malcolm McDowell out to get coffee. He use to grumble about it. :)

We now return you to your previous thread, already in progress.

Seems odd, given various sources that claim McDowell records his voice stuff at home and mails it in... (which was true, at the very least, for WCA)
