Napoleon, you are thinking about that one were the bugs are one of three races and they were only come to find Blair.
That one is false, but Blair death was left open until SO, he could still be alive or not, its EA/Origin call.

Yes I am aware of blair's death being left open that is why I contend that he is EITHER dead OR alive

Well, Nap, that is pretty straightforward, as I have not heard of any in between state. If anybody has, let me know.

Which one was that? Assuming you weren't thinking of the Mark Day freaky story.
He was. However, LOAF has already pointed out that that interview is completely false.

...Thank goodness! ;)

One last thing about the guy wich I can´t say the name. Last time any of us saw him he was facing a alien twice as big as him, with no weapons and in a near to explode jump gate. C'mon, get real.

Look better, he is holding a weapon. And in the final cutscene there is a cooling tower entering the worm hole...

1) Voltron? WOW! I LOVED THAT SHOW! Amazing...5 lions can type too! :)

2) Wouldn't it have been interesting though if that story was true? It would have done wonders for showing the tragedy of hating those that kill millions, yet is left with no other choice. Now, as no one fully understands how he feels, Blair turns to this 'dark' power.

Just sit back from the dead vs alive argument and think about the development that story would have involved.

Not really, that story was just something very strange, I already dislike flying as Casey, now fighting Blair......
No way.
Also that story was something very dumb, the Kilrtahi war looked "real" but that just looked as manga.(I have nothing against manga type stories, I actually like that but for the greatest space sim that was ever made no.)

There was a little interview of the WCP/SO producer here ont he CIC, and they originally planned to bring him back in the future, although they still didn't know how. But that was some time ago... and a completly different thing can happen.
The #wc interview with Mark Day? Fake.

I think, if it had been true, I would have actually *hoped* that Origin never makes another WC game. Well, I'm exaggerating, but it would have been close.
I mean, a master-race/entity that goes around assimilating other races... what is the name of this master-race/entity? Borg, perhaps?
And then Blair... he is assimilated into this race/entity, then eventually I guess he's somehow liberated, and goes back to fighting for the Confederation. He'd also have to change his name to Jean-Luc Picard, eh? :)
In conclusion, if I want to watch Star Trek, I'll go watch Star Trek. But the last thing we need is for WC to... er, assimilate Star Trek plotlines.
