Speech AND subtitles in Privateer 1 CD

Hmm. It's probably a simple hex edit or tweak to sound.cfg, but I'm not sure anyone has ever tried. I don't believe there's an option in the game.
 
well.. one should realize there might be unsynchronies between the texts and the speech, as the many NPCs will call say the character's name in the text subtitles, but 'privateer' in the speech. Also talking with the ship dealer would give you the exact calculations for ship's costs, trade-ins and money left in our account.

Yeah, like I said, nobody's probably ever done it before, so it'd probably be up to you to research it.
