some questions from an beginner (os x)

hello,
after playing for a while I don't know what to do next :
I bought a galaxy ship, I met Sandoval and have his artifact, I met Tayla - doing a mission for her - can't find her anymore, found a Kilrathi Cloaking Device - don't know what to do with ....
and know I don't find Roman Lynch or other guys - travelling around, doing some cargo or escort missions and collecting millions of cedits....
Is that all i can do ? or is that a bug ?
Where are these guys the bartenders telling me from ?
Is there any sector somewhere outside Gemini ?
What should I do with the damn artifact ?

can you please help me a bit ????

The Cloaking device is a bit of an Easter Egg (and will almost certainly be removed from the next version of the pure Privateer Remake).

With regards to the storyline, try visiting the bars in the large systems (i.e. New Constantinople, New Detroit etc). Roman Lynch is the guy you need to find.

With regards to the artifact itself, you don't need to "do" anything with it. The storyline centers around it and will unveil information pertaining to it and the world around you.
 
Tayla wants you to run drugs from a pirate base. Remember where she told you to take the plastics?
