Sniper's War?

Hey,

Anyone ever heard of a fanproject titled 'Wing Commander Sniper's War'?

There use to be a high res DivX trailer at some .nu (what .nu?) website featuring some high tech non-WC ships and high quality CGI animations...
and suddenly the site as well any references to the project ceased to exists.

Anybody has a hint here?

I've heard of it, but I'm rather sure it's vaporware. The one and only time I heard of it was in, I believe, January 2001, in the CIC news.

Search the 2001 archive for sniper. It's the only update that will come up. I forgot to check if the website or the trailer are still up.
