Serving on ships.

Hey i lookin for an internet ship that i can join. I would prefer it to be a confed ship. DOes anyone have any ideas where i can get a job?

Then there are also ships and groups for that act as clans for different games available over the internet, like for Star Trek Armada

Nice idea. I would also like to do it..but at the Blacklance HQ I did not find the place to register (the English was too advanced for me)...I will have to do it in the evening when I am back home from my work...'cause if you want to fly you will have to work for it....but the spring will come and I will be there and wait for it!

Y'know, if all of this were real, I don't think I'd join Confed. And if I did, I'd probably wind up like Dallas.

"They're actually SHOOTING out there!"

I'd love to fly, but I wouldn't want to be out on a carrier all the time. It'd get on my nerves.

Shameless self-promotion, but the WCF is a pretty good group, although on the small side. We have fun though. The only thing is that we don't take much to keeping the WC universe as it is, we are going farther and pushing the limits to expand the WC universe. Basically, if Origin won't do it, then we'll do it for them. The url is http://www.geocities.com/wcf_01/ if you want to check it out

I must agree with ICE, I would love to serve on the Vic in the battle against the Kilrathi, fighting the good fight. Actually I would join up in 2654 and fly off of the claw for a while then fly for a few years on assorted ships, then go on the connie, then after she goes down transfer to the Victory and finally after the war retire and when the BLA pops up join the BWMilitia and fly off of the Intrepid. If there was a war like the Kilrathi going on, I would join the Space force or navy, for 2 reasons, One becuase I would love to fly in space and as the navy, I would love to command a star ship, and Two I would do that so that I couldn't be drafted into the Marines or army

I know one thing for sure is that I wouldnt have wanted to serve on the Victory once Blair was aboard. I mean look at it, The only other pilots who survived were Maniac and Vagabond, everyone else died at some point. (funny aside, i actually flew a mission where Maniac got killed and they played the funeral scene for him.) Hobbes was a traitor and killed Cobra, Flash died in a dog fight, Vaquero died when Blair went after Hobbes, Flint died in orbit around Kilrah (all this taken from the novel) Chances are, you werent gonna make it home.

I'd like to serve at the bar in one of those Pleasure Planets in Gemini...

I mean, who hasn't fantasized about working under that bartender?

Makes me wonder why all the other bartenders look the same. But really...

About those net clubs, how do they work? Who assigns rank and what not, and what do they actually do? They always seemed a bit superfluous to me.

Rank is pretty much based on in the begining, order of joining and later on participation and usefulness. Most clubs are based around Role Playing.

(Then there are clubs like LOAF's Merry Guild... )

But LOAF, if you served as a bartender then hundreds, if not thousands of pilots would be dissapointed in seeing a guy there and not their ever renowned bartenderesses... Maybe you could just work in the back.

BTW, the pilots we can have as our wingmen in WC3 are not the only pilots on the ship. BTW That gemini bar...who needs that when on the Victory we have our very own porn star!

The key word is "under" (I like the exploration corps girl better, I would like do some "exploring" under her uniform)

Thats why she's our favourite little grease monkey. Meanwhile, somewhere on the flight deck the Captain Eisen hears strange sounds. He walks to a longbow, walks inside and see Blair and Rachel playing in the COCKpit.
