General Taggart playroom has put together a fun comparison video that shows the evolution of Wing Commander from WC1 to WC3. Every Wingnut knows what the mission briefing looks aboard the Tiger's Claw versus the Concordia or Victory, but it's a nice trip down memory lane to see them one right after another. There's plenty of other mini clips that show off characters as they age, the exciting takeoff and landing processes, auto piloting, intro sequence and much more. It really drives home how much the technology leapt forward in the early to mid '90s. Games still continue to get more and more advanced to this day, but the pace of technology growth in gaming really took off exponentially for a while there!
