Does WC3 follow the novels, or do the novels follow the games?

Well, perhaps not detail... but doesn't the novel give a reason as to why the wreckage was found on Vespus? The game doesn't as I recall.

The why isn't important in this case. It's the simple fact that the Concordia has been destroyed that matters. And the war-weary look on Blair's face.
