Question Regarding WC Secret Missions

Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you could direct me to a site where I can download or purchase the secret missions add on for the original Wing Commander? I checked Ebay quick and it did not appear that there were any postings for it.

You cannot download the original DOS Secret Mission add ons for Wing Commander legaly. But you can download the Kilrathi Saga version at the main CIC site.
 
You can d/l the KS versions from the CIC here. As to finding originals I'm not sure how often they appear on ebay....

As referring to Chat Zone rule #11, the crius forums specifically bans anyone that would offer links or even a hint to abandonware (OR others) websites.

It seems you are on you own to finding SM1/2 legally or illegally. READ THE RULES FIRST.
 
Just pointing to the rules. I hope you didn't take my post as an agressive stance to his question.
 
The Secret Missions and Special Operations for Kilrathi Saga can be downloaded legally, that's why it's not agains the forums rules, Don. Read Edfilho's post, it's just below the post you were replying to.
 
Hey thanks for the quick replies! I'm not trying to do anything illegal (notice I said purchase;) ). This is a real bummer, as I would love to play the missions. Ah well.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think The Secret Missions and Special Operations come bundled with the Deluxe Editions of WC1&2. They should be pretty easy to find on eBay; that's where I got mine.

Why would you think trying to help someone legally find old Wing Commander games would be against the rules?

Right. WC2 Deluxe is quite common, but WC1 Deluxe not so much. If you ever found a cheap Kilrathi Saga, the Secret Missions would be a download onto that. Secret Missions 1 for the Super Nintendo is somewhat readily available.

Also watch out for http://cgi.ebay.com/ULTIMA-VI-6-Win...288568638QQcategoryZ62053QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem The Ultima 6/WC1 combo is relatively rare, but I've been seeing a number in circulation lately. It's on CD, but the Software Toolworks rerelease does not include the Secret Missions.
