Programmer needed for small WC Project

Visual Basic is designed to let people easily create things that have the same interface as MS products... not vice versa.

In Germany we call such people 'Weichei'. (Soft-egg).
I still wonder which opinions people have.:)
Nothing concerning PC is easy. Except that Programming in general is nothing for people whom don't know their PC very well. In either way. Give many people a HTML book. They won't stand with it. So Visual Basic isn't something for sissies. Maybe VB is an easy language. But everybody whom can write programs, is no sissi in my eyes. At least we may not forget that many people aren't able to turn a PC on. So even if they can, only 20% or so in my eyes (of the people whom have PCs) write programs. So it is a low percentage.
And what can I do for it, that we learn such languages at school?????? I don't need it. I've just chosen that subject, because I thought it is interesting.
 
And? Not everybody is able to do write it. Give my female classmates a HTML book. Nothing will happen. Really nothing. It'll be thrown into an edge of the room. Because they won't find the editor. :)
And concerning CAG's callsign...where did you get that information? Again the Propecy-Guide? And why does a naval officer need a callsign? Especially such one?

Obviously they wouldn't get very far. Lack of interest and commitment. Also note that HTML is not a programming language.

VB certainly has its uses. I've made several neat little VB applications. You can't write a serious, larger application in VB though. Compared to decent languages, VB is a sissy language. Real men program in C++ and Java to name but two.
 
Kris: It was an example.:) I know HTML isn't a programming language. But it would be the thing they'd begin with and they really wouldn't find their editor. Because they don't know their PC. So give them VB and they won't know how to install any editor. Even if they had the interest. What really isn't propable.

One more time I thought wrong. Funny. The CAG in a fighter would be funny to imagine. But now I know what was meant in the manual: 'I was in war....' or something like that. I wondered myself. But in which war? On Confed's side in the 'war' against the Border Worlds or in the Kilrathi war? Many questions...
 
HTML is as easy as speaking your foreign tounge! It takes all of 2 hours to learn!

I never liked the CAG. She wasn't that great looking and she was a blah kinda actress...No offense...Though, for some reason, I really like her hair...
 
She's an authority figure, not a sex symbol.

Some of you will be saying you should fancy the host of The Weakest Link next;)
