privateer 2 patrol missions -how long do i need to stay?

hi again!

does anyone know how long i need to stay at the nav-points to pass patrol missions?
they don´t seem to end though i got rid of all enemies.

another question: how do i activate the BSE? is it any good?

Alt-B activates the BSE.
