I have a hp pavilion xe318 running windows me. I have downloaded and installed the dos patch. When I go to the dos prompt (shift F8) my systems locks when i run cd\privater <enter> priv <enter>. Is this a sound problem? I get nothing but a locked screen. I do not have a sound card, but have a chip on the motherboard style. the following is my autoexec.bat and config.sys.
