I have 7 GIGs free... _sigh_ lemme guess.. short or signed integer problem...
 
Try to create the directory where you want P2 to be installed (usually c:\dark) before running the installer.
 
that was a thought, but it didn't work - and from a programming standpoint it wouldn't make sense to work - because you get that etrror message soon as the installer tries to start up

i wonder if it's an NTFS issue...
 
It was NTFS -- The installer must make some hackish low-level call to determine freespace that is FAT32-dependant
 
That's weird, i'm with NTFS and i have no problem at all!!, just create the directory, it worked for me..
