Hmm, that's correct, there's at least one reference to the Tarawa's flight deck having Ferrets on it when it's retired in FA... so, anyone saving the list, update the Ferret to 2668.

I was actually referring to a bit which mentions a forward screen of "Rapiers, Raptors, Ferrets, and Hornets" being used in the first strike on the Kilrathi Hakagas (near the bit in which Kevin talks to Round Top on the radio, IIRC).

Given that most of the fleet was in mothballs at the time, six months into the Armistice, I'd be surprised if they HAD any 'new' fighter designs (like the improved Hellcats, Arrows, and Thunderbolts) ready for the strike.
