Possible Homeworld2 WC mod

I like that idea! It would be the only fan mod I know of where you get to be a Kilrathi. I had even thought about how it might be fun to be Kilrathi Raiders, but it might be better to have something on Confed's side since it wouldn't be as fun to fight AGAINST humanity. That might provide a way to be Kilrathi and still be a good guy.
 
I've been thinking of several possible mission setups for the single player campaign, one idea that I'll love to implement is raiding a Kilrathi carrier in a shipyard for fighters. The HW2 engine and game stuff is pretty awesome too, though I'm still gonna work on the single player aspect so I know how to make a good mission and understand the internals. Other thoughts to the single player aspect is having a limited supply of fighters and vessels, meaning the player will need to take care of their fighter wings, so if they lose a group of fighters...they're gone forever until they're replaced. I have no intention of dropping fighter replacement when a wing has been depleted to only a single vessel.
 
Not sure about that in my games the fighters died by scores, only cap ships last longer. Btw can you give player a suply limit like in Cataclysm, this would work best with BW or Raiders, while Confed & Nephilim have bigger reserv.
Ideas for campain.
Kilrathi: goal to form new clan, while fighting human pirat's. Later they might find out about place where Confed holds & studys kilrathi ships taken when the war was won.
Border Worlds: goal to form a fleet to stand against Nephilim armaada while dealing with other pesky problems. And in some place do some corsairing and mining.
Confed: goal to do what they allways do best, end all threath to Confed might.
 
Other Campaign idea: You could reinact some of the great moments of the WC series- that way you could be a mix of Kilrathi/Confed/BW/or even be the Nephilim. One mission you might be Confed defending earth, followed by being the rebels of Ghorah Khar, followed by being the Kilrathi while they conducted one of their famous raids. The next mission could be the first strikes of the Nephilim, or a Border worlds assault. There seems to be some interest though in the Ghorah Khar rebels from a post on the main WC threads.
