The WC3/4 uniforms have wings -- they're the gold and silver wings-shaped pins on the right breast pockets.

When Blair gets his colonel rank back, sparks comment about who the wings look good on him. That's on the beginning of WC2SO1.

well my favorite "article of clothing worn in WC" was in WC2 paladin's jacket he wore in the barracks a few times

Yikes, that's about my worst favorite clothing..

Actually, Sparks comments about those silver birds looking good on him - she's referring to the Colonel insignia, which, circa WC2, was a US Army-like eagle. Commenting on his wings would have been futile, because they weren't exactly new, after he had been a pilot for more than a decade.

You mean this:

This is also used in the US Air Force and Marine Corps. Also the Navy use it on Duty Uniforms.

Yeah, that. I used "US Army" because I couldn't be bothered explaining how it's used in all those other branches as well :p.

That looks wrong somehow. I remember both Confed and American aviator wings to be narrower and longer.

As several people have already explicitly stated, those *aren't* aviator wings -- it's the full colonel insignia.

yep... colonel to everyone except Navy... to whom its a captain :D

Just for the record, it was implied in my comment that those wings/birds indicated the rank of colonel. :)

I think Lev Arris had the coolest outfit, too bad he probably never remembered where he bought it. :p

Well, it doesn't look like he was in cryo-freeze wearing that trench coat. He probably just brought it later on Crius using his very attractive bank account. Otherwise they could use it to track his former identity.
