PCGamer/Joystick issues...

Don't know if anybody can help me, but I'll give it a shot...

Has anyone who's played the PCGamer WC1 been able to play with a joystick? I've been using the keyboard, because my joystick won't work with it. That's odd, because my joystick works with Descent, which is on the same disk, so I was just wondering...

The KS Win95 WC1 uses DirectX for joystick input, Descent directly reads from your joystick. Make sure that your stick is showing as "OK" in Control Panel -> Gome Controllers. Also, if it's a calibration issue, make sure that the stick is properly calibrated by selecting in in the Game Controllers panel and hitting "properties", then calibrating the joystick (one of the tabs there has the calibration thingie on it).

More information as the the type of problem would be helpful.

It's nice to help someone with something other then installing VirusScan or switching versions of Netscape. I do computer repair in my homewotwn and that was what my last job consisted of. $20 an hour is nice pay though. Only problem I can't seam to solve is my Privateer sound issue..
