Old Wing Commander games new

I would be tempted to play WC1, WC2 and WC3 in a new look à la "Wing Commander Saga". Isn't there any project that reissues the old missions? I wasn't really able to figure out what this project is all about: Introducing wcdx - Kilrathi Saga for modern Windows

Howie's WC project is WC1 in style (but not a remake)
The WC4 remake is going to great pains to support WC3 formats (which are suprisingly different from 4, 4 seems like it was altered to speed up loading times), but that's still a long way off.

wcdx, meanwhile, is essentially a patch on the official Windows 95 versions of WC1 and WC2; it's the original game in the original engine, updated to be playable on modern systems.
