Odd question

This is sort of odd, but I came across this phrase and I tried to search for it's meaning but to no avail. I believe it to be British in origin and a few of the members here are British so I'll just put it out and see if anyone knows what it means.

"Wry on Toast"

Ideas?

"{Something} on toast" is sort of a casual aggregation. If someone is described as being "wry on toast", then it means they are especially wry.
