Oatmeal epiphanies...

Shipgate

Rear Admiral
I was eating my breakfast this morning and suddenly starting thing about Wing Commander 4. In the last scene when Tolwyn is on trial there is a guy pointing a finger (well they all are pointing their finger) that is the Black Lance guy? He's Chris Roberts isn't he? I'm sure many of you will laugh at me for just figuring this out. Or maybe you'll laugh at me because it's not him. But it seems that it is. I wonder why this never occured to me. "And I couldn't go on!"

If I recall, yes that is CR in WC4 during the trial scenes as one of the BL guys. I think his line was "The honorable Admiral Tolwyn". Could be wrong tho...been awhile since Ive ran WC4.

Yes, that's him. He's also one of the escort ship voiceovers in WC3, the 'Blair' standin in WC2, the pilot who rescues Blair in the movie and... they mention 'Col. Roberts' in a number of other sources. :)

I was wondering about the rescue of Blair in the WC movie...if that was CR or not.

It was actually the barfly pilot that says "The honorable Admiral Tolwyn." Chris Roberts says "And I couldn't go on!" (perhaps indicating the progress of shooting..).

Ahh right! I remember now, the veteran pilot who meets with Blair at the bar before Maniac's arrival. Hmm...all this chat about the characters makes me want to fire up the DVD drive and go thru WC 4 again.
