I had an idea. If they did another Wing Commander game, do y'
all think it should be Post-WCP from the Kilrathi perspective? It would be fun to see the Kilrathi's reaction to the Mantu's invaasion, seeing as how the Cats and Bugs have fought each other before. The game could entail the Kilrathi somehow managing to pull together, and start another Imperial Dynasty. It would be fun to fly an enhanced Strakha or Bloodfang against those bugs fighters. What do you think?
 
Nope. I feel that it should focus on the Kilrathi war. Personally I feel that that is the best aspect of the entire series.
 
As much as I'd like to see a major WC game from the Kilrathi side I think they should first end what they started in WCP, with Casey and so.
 
I think it'd probably be better to finish the story with Casey first. However, I'm a stout advocate of a game, done in perhaps a Civilization fashion (although I don't think that would be the best way, I'm fighting for an example here), that would allow us to play as the Kilrathi during their struggle for a new Emperor.

I dunno. The Kilrathi army/navy/whatever was in real bad shape when the bugs came, I think that´s why they were beaten up so bad.

Um..the aliens in WCP are NOT the Mantu.
 
I think a game from the Kilrathi side, even during the Kilrathi war would be pretty awesome. Think of the possibilities of actually trying to hunt down the VICTORY, or having the Prince as your wingmen... :) The possibilties are endless.

Wing Commander Academy and Wing Commander Armada.

In any case, I don't think a major game release on the side of the Kilrathi would work as well as, say, TIE Fighter for Star Wars. It would alienate a lot of players (including myself), and more to the point, we can't even expect a new WC game for a while yet. If and when a new game is announce, I would prefer it to continue and/or finish the Prophecy story (go Strike Team).

What... negative 'waves'? All I'm saying is I don't think a Kilrathi WC game would work that well. As I said a (long) while ago, I don't mind flying with the Kilrathi (as Blair and Casey did on occassions), but I don't want to fly as one.

And Prophecy still needs to be finished - it's not good leaving story threads as big as this one incomplete.
 
Why don't you people take all these great ideas and write fanfics? I'm writing one that continues where Prophecy/SO left off and writing it how I think a cool storyline would go (Blair is alive). BTW: I agree that WC won't be back, for awhile. I think eventually the huge fan base it has will bring it back. Like Wolfenstein....
