Please can anybody tell me how to view models (ships) from WC... i need topdown views of confed fighters from prophecy-so but i dunno yhe way to get it

You can take screen shots by pressing the Print Screen button. This will save whatever you're looking at as a bitmap image in the Prophecy folder. F5 (Chase Cam), F6 (Object Cam), F7 (Ship POV Cam), F10 (Fly-By Cam), F11 (Drop Cam), and F12 (Target Track Cam) will allow you to cycle through all of the external views.

no use... i need a way to look models, not take screens. i need alien fighters, excaliburs, thunderstorms -- u cant screenshot those in SO

Of course you can take screenshots from excaliburs and thunderbolts (i guess you mean tbolts by sayng thunderstorms right?

And even alien fighters, you can use the wcpedit to fly those ships and make it easier to make screenshots from them. Or if yon need models, go to http://wc.telefragged.com/
there is a link there with almost all, if not all wcso models for download.
