I keep seeing LOL on some posts yet I can't figure out what it means. Most of the other I got just this one eludes me.

It is an abbreviation for "Lots of laughter". You use it when you show that you find sth funny.

It... might exist, the acronym works -- but "Laugh Out Loud" is the common one.

Lots of Laughs was actually how I was originally introduced to it. It's how my brain still translates it even though I've heard other lengthened forms.

While were on the subject of help...... How do you do all the little smile faces i have seen. The only ones I know are and . but there is a bunch more, I just don't know how to do them.

I was first indoctrinated to LOL with it meaning Laughing out loud or Laugh out loud.
