My first WC movie figure

I picked up this Kilrathi figure from Instagram for $27.50 (including shipping to the UK), arrived within a week

I managed to find the only two WC movie figures at a local comic & collectable shop nearby for $16.99 a piece (I think, been awhile now). I ended up with a pair of new cats for the home.

I had no idea that they made figurines from that movie.

Someone obviously expected it would be a lot better than it was...

Yeah -- it was the first product line put out by X-Toys and the company didn't last too long after that (they went on to do Wild Wild West figures, then a series of Saturday Night Live toys.) Licensing Wing Commander wasn't the worst gamble; they would have been hoping Phantom Menace would make the genre red hot and buoy similar properties.

Breathing a little life into an old thread.

My Kilrathi were lonely and asked for some Terrans to play with. I couldn't help but feel the plight of their honorable request. Since then, there have been labors to introduce them to 6 humans, not all friendly.



The collection is finally complete!
