except that it seems you get to fly a lot of strike missions unescorted. In WC2 anyway, only the Broadsword could jump, so that was something for it, but a homogenous Sabre strike (missile sabres escorting torp sabres) would've been able to move faster, and could tangle with the fighters prior to the torp run or afterwards

just a little peeve of mine "Now that you've spent x campaigns slogging in a Broadsword, look what we can do with a Sabre!" :eek:
