Match speed of Tarsus 500 plus

I'm not sure if this is a bug but after I blew up a mission talon, I tried to match the speed of the escape pod by pressing F9. The speed of my tarsus (this is my first mission mind you) went up to 500 something klips. I thought the max speed for this vehicle was 300?

Also, when landing on Helen, the sound clip didn't play entirely before the landing pad screen shows up.

you're allowed to match speeds to drifting (friendly) objects so that if you hit backspace you will be aligned with them. this allows people to recover cargo after a ship who's been flying with it has been hit--even if they don't have the means to recover it otherwise
