This list of art assets needed for Shadow Force is interesting for a number of reasons, not the last of which because it shows that the project would have used updated versions of classic ships in exactly the same way as Wing Commander Arena eventually did. It certainly would have been great to see Paktahns and Bloodfangs updated by Origin, though!

Thanks to Captain Johnny for both archiving and providing this material! The series is winding down, though, so if you're a former Wing Commander developer with a story to tell or a document to share, we'd love to hear from you.

Woohoo, corpses and body parts return! They were great in Privateer - my brother always teased me that you could tractor them in and sell them as "generic food" :).

What I don't get with the Kilrathi fighters: would they really have used the old but updated versions of the WC 3 fighters? Because when I read "New style, Darket equivalent", I think it means that a new fighter would have been created which took the role of the Darket but looks different. In contrast to "Redesign / Upgrade" as with the Murphy, Plunkett etc. ?

So many questions / points:

I wonder what "semi-assymetrical" means. Like the Vaktoth? Because I personally dislike that the most: they're either totally assymetrical or symetrical but not "a bit assymetrical".

What's the Sulaco look?

Also, I found the Ceberus to look dangerous enough...

Female Kilrathi making an appearance as pilots as well, interesting.

Maybe they would have used the Icon of Glory and Sivar for two of the Kilrathi medals?

I also don't get how the storyline given meshes with the idea of the Shadow Force story, it sounds completely different.

The actual filename is "(DOCUMENT) Shadow Force Art Multi-Reece Updated" - my guess is that Multi-Commander became Shadow Force (or vice versa).
