Here's a system that unfortunately didn't make it into the finished games: a series of ribbons and medals awarded for achieving various goals, similar to those found in the original Wing Commander. The finished game had only two or three static medal awards which were not influenced by the player's performance.

It's a shame that these didn't make it into the game. I can see how these could tie in with the post-mission stats.

Any idea what's going on on the first page?
 
Looks like a sketch of the gameflow rooms to me: (left to right) Recreation Room, Ready Room, Briefing Room.

The finished game had only two or three static medal awards which were not influenced by the player's performance.
Not influenced beyond anything besides staying alive and completing enough of the mission objectives to continue with the story, I assume you mean. ;)

Edit: I agree, they would have made a nice addition and throw-back to what we experienced in the original WC, especially since Prophecy was to be a new beginning.
 
These would have been really cool.

I felt that the locker space seemed to be wasted in Prophecy. When Zero showed Casey his locker I thought it was supposed to be for in-game achievements like medals and promotions (ala WC1), but sadly it went unused.
