Maj Striker Throws Some Scims After That Dralthi (July 25, 2004)

Maj. Striker has completed a new 3d animation for Wing Commander fans to check out his latest models in action.

Initially I was going to try to tell a story but all things have their limitations so this wound up being a brief clip of a couple of scimitars tangling with two Dralthi in good ole fashion space combat. I feel its a little better than my last animation and I certainly learned a lot doing this one. I love the WC community and although it's not much, this is my way of trying to give back to the community...by creating a few clips for those who can't get enough WC goodness.

It clocks in at three and a half minutes and 35 megs. It includes voices from the games to narrate. I really hope people eventually do turn something like this into a full story or movie someday. You can grab the clip here.

Thanks guys, it took me about a week and a half to get this whole thing together, add sound, voices and music.

I really loved those dralthis,
but i found the size of the planet a bit wierd, it reminded me of good old star quest in the 27. century.
