Folks:
when Privateer Remake starts, especially for the first time when it has to build BSP trees, it may take a long time before bringing up the splash screen.
On a Pentium III 800 MHz this might be up to 3 minutes +/- 1 minute the first time!
Please be patient.
It may show whatever image was last in your framebuffer.
If you want to show Privateer Remake to your friends you might want to make sure you like what was last in your framebuffer! ;-)
Once I had remnants of a "VISA ad" appear before Privateer Remake loaded... but that was just coincidence.
