I was having a look at the E3 trailer of the soon-to-be-released-on-pc Star Wars game, Knights of the Old Republic. It looks like a pretty decent game but when it has shots of the main ship in the game I thought that it looked, in a strange sort of way, like the Banshee in Wing Commander 4.

Just thought I'd see what everyone else thinks of it :)

P.S. I'm still a loyal WC fan :D
 
Um... no. I have that ship as my destop, it doesn't look like the Banshee.

Speaking of desktop pictures, anyone has some cool WC1-4 desktop pictures?
 
You're out of your mind. The only similarity it has with the Banshee is that it's triple pronged, and even the prongs are completely the wrong shape (and of course the wrong size).

That's like saying that Privateer's Drayman looks exactly like a Star Destroyer, which in truth would be a closer comparison.
 
Sorry pal ! I didn't say it was the most likeable and obvious comparison in the world, but I only said there was a slight similarity between them :D And I believe everything you said but I hope you weren't insulting my intelligence ;)

By the way TyeDyeBoy, you and the rest of the CIC crew down in Atlanta did a great job in keeping all of us up-to-date with DragonCon, thanks for that
