PopsiclePete has a cool present for us--a high resolution version of the Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga manual rendered from Origin's original file templates! This is a really awesome upgrade from the (relatively) low-resolution scans previously available. Thanks, Pete! LOAF's introduction and the file name implies that this isn't the final version. Will there be an update soon? I'm prepared to wait, I'm just wondering about the time-frame.

I am busy on some other projects at the moment, but I'd like to prefect the manual in the near future. What is not perfect yet ? I haven't been able to convert the original manual cover yet, as it gets broken by the Quark version conversion, so I used the low-res cover scan for this release. I also spotted a few one-or-two-pixel overflow of a few page backgrounds onto the next, and I think I saw a slight stretch on the backgrounds of two of the game separation pages. If you haven't noticed it, I'd say you can live with it

And so it was in the printed version ! (Albeit printed in black and white). It's strange they put all the other logos in all-white "footprint" style, but not the "II" of the WC2 logo. I choose to leave it as is just for the sake of having the PDF match the printed manual as much as possible, but I can fix it, too.
