Joystick in XP

I got win XP, and i want to play WC IV (the 6 cd game, not DVD) but i can't get it to detect in the game, it is reconized in Windows but not the game

Anyone else had this problem?

(I beat it using the keyboard but i wanna play it again w/ joystick)

Install win 95 patch for WC IV then in game to to options and select joystic as control device.. ALT+O inagme

yeah i got the same problem..

my stick (wingman interceptor) if fine in windows, but when i'm in the game and hit alt+o and select joystick, nothing happens...

and the configure joystick button does nothing once clicked !!

help me !!
