Introduction and Question

Hello everyone,
I have enjoyed the Wing Commander series ever since I played the first game on Sega CD. I've been coming to this site for quite some time, and I finally decided to sign up! I just wanted to say hello to everybody here.
Also, I have a question regarding the events in WC4. I finally got my PC copy and am very happy with it (up until now I have just been playing the PS version). Now I could finally play the Circe missions instead of having to play Sparadon all the time. After finishing two Circe missions, I talk to Sosa who introduces me to a Circe officer who claims to have information for me. Blair asks Sosa to keep him updated on it. My question is, when do we find out what the info is? Maybe I missed it, but what did the data from Circe have to say? Was it just another forgotten thing like Catscratch in the final missions of the game?
Thanks everyone

it's IFF codes. You end up using IFF codes to sneak past some hostile ships or something similar to that. I always went to Speradon :)

Yeah, thats a good point. As much as I disliked Catscratch, it bothered me that if he lived through that "milk run", you never saw him again. For the filming logistics it makes sense, but shit, I'd've like to have seen a little better continuity.

I wonder what happened that caused Catscratch to completely miss out on the rest of the game. Perhaps he wanted to drop out of the game. I guess we'll never know.

Nah. They just wrote it into the plot that he had a chance to die. Since they couldn't write two entire alternate scripts to accomodate your choice/skills (it'd cost too much), they just left catscratch out of the rest of the filming. That way, whether he dies or you save him, it goes the same. . . plus, after that ass-chewing he gets from Blair, I doubt he allows himself to be within close proximity of the good Colonel. There's your continuity: He gets scared of Blair.

Nah. Blair said he couldn't afford to ground him because he needed all his pilots, and that catscratch was on "probation" until 2680.

"If we didn't need every pilot, I'd ground you in a minute, but consider yourself on probation . . . for the rest of the decade." (paraphrased)

Catscratch probably got sent on milk runs for the rest of the game. Maybe long range patrols or something else of that nature. Yeah, he probably ended up on a REALLY long patrol...

Damn, I have bad memory, gotta say.

<clears his throat>

Here goes, what did catscratch look like gentlemen?
He kindof looked like the guy from Brotherhood of the Wolf ;)

heres a small picture at the top of the page of an older Mark Dacascos
There used to be a good WCU character site online, but I can't seem to find it.

Welcome aboard Cowboy!

Hey, I know this guy. He used to do lots of Karate movies right? Or maybe still doing, donno.

Thanks for the link bro' :D

Welcome aboard, Cowboy!

Ol' Catscratch got hisself assigned as S-4 Officer for being such a F-up. You see him running for cover every time Blair comes down the passageway. :D

After Catscratch was shot in the face, he went to hell and returned as a man having a small, meaningless career who decides his best shot is to do a crappy T.V. version of "The Crow."

At least he didn't go back to making porn movies the way Ginger Lynn Allen eventually did. His martial arts training still gets him SOME gigs.
