Hello, I wanted to tell you all that Instant Runoff Voting is currently gathering signatures in WA State for I-318. This is the solution to the voting dilemma here and I urge all Washingtonians to get involved with this campaign.

Initiative to the legislators, we have until December 2004 to gather 200,000 valid signatures for I-318.

It doesn't say too much for the person who started this thread that they joined up, and were supposed to have read the rules, but didn't. If they can't even follow simple instructions like "don't post just for the sake of plugging a web site", how does anyone expect them to do better on voting for issues of actual importance?
