When I saw Inglourious Basterds yesterday (Sunday, September 13, 2009), I saw a preview for a film called "Inception". The preview doesn't really tell you anything about it, but it is supposed to be released in theaters on July 16, 2010. The director is the same guy who did Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Anyone else here think this might be interesting? The movie's official website doesn't tell you anything at all, it's just a spinning top: http://inceptionmovie.warnerbros.com/

Allegedly it's about a near future where people can enter each other's dreams. I think DiCaprio has to enter somebody else's dreams in order to solve a mystery. So it's The Cell meets Dreamscape, I guess. Very Philip K. Dick.

(What's the deal with the exact dates in all your posts? Your posts are automatically dated, so there's no need to specify when "yesterday" was...)

Wait, I'm totally confused about these dates. Did you see these movies four thousand years ago, or was it just recently? I'm lost without the Common Era notation.

This movie sounds like a job for MENTOK! THE MIND TAKER! Woooweeeeooooo

Saw the preview. Marginally freaked by it. Totally lost. Then again. It's Christopher Nolan's trailers.

This is one of those films that just sound a bit too weird, like the one where that guy in the future was framed by the crime-divination device or something.

I could never make myself watch that.

I really liked Minority Report. I think it's one of Spielberg's stronger films of the new millennium.

OMG, MINORITY REPORT IS AWESOME! They should so make a sequel, and I have the perfect plot. It could be like where a group of vigilantes kidnap the precogs and then stop crime on their own.
