Iff::iff open file 'mesh\i.iff not found and not optional

I have problem with Ue i try and play the first mission and select either two ships for the engagement to capture the killrathi cap ship. I get Iff::iff open file 'mesh\i.iff not found and not optional. I have used the wcpedit which using the restore option does not work because i extracted the files from the ship tre files of Ue.

Hmm. Basically, the game is under the impression that one of its ships needs a mesh called "i.iff". I have no idea what could be causing that. However, given that nobody else has ever encountered it, I'm guessing it must have something to do with his editing of the ships. The easiest solution, therefore, is to simply restore the config file so that the game goes back to ignoring non-TRE files.
