Hmmm... I guess I can run my old WCA tapes through my computer again and the ATI TV thing record the captions... gotta unpack them, though. Will work on it this weekend...

Alternatively, you could stick the subtitles in a seperate subtitles file (plain text format). Players like BS player can put subtitles on screen during playback. Better quality (subtitles look like crap when captured and divx'd), probably less effort on your part, and no one would have to download another 70MB per episode.

That's what I meant -- my TV player has the option to record the subtitles in text format...
