I've just purchased the full Kilrathi Saga, and i'm greatly dissappointed that both Wc1 and 2 did not come with the Secret Missions. The Wc2 Special Operations work, but both Secret Missions for Wc1 crash as soon as I try to run them. Can anyone help?
 
I've tried those. I'm not sure what's wrong, but the Secret Missions and Special operations don't install on the computer when I install the games, and the CIC versions of Secret Missions are the ones that crash.
 
If you're running XP, be sure to set the compatability tabs for the sm1/sm2 exe files within the Kilrathi Saga folder to Windows 95 or 98. That fixed it for me.
 
Ok, the Secret Mission Packs work, but now it acts like the joystick is uncallibrated. The joystick doesn't even respond.
 
I've switched the compatability of everything to 98, but both the mouse and keyboard have the same problem. They both fly to the bottom right corner of the screen and won't go anywhere else.
 
So what are you trying to do now? You have some input device causing uncalibrated feedback. If you're trying to use the mouse or keyboard, get rid of it. If you're trying to use the joystick, recalibrate it.
 
I've recalibrated the joystick and I can't very well get rid of my keyboard and mouse. Still nothing. When I fire up Wc3, the mouse works fine when i'm on the Victory, but nothing responds when I actually fly a mission.
 
What kind of joystick have you got? Does it work on other games? Is it showing up correctly on the Windows control panel's joystick thingy?
