Gwynedd a backwater system...

Grr, this is the same weird CZ logic that had you people arguing about why the flashpak would split the dreadnought into two halves.

Whoever pointed out the fact that the Behemoth is only seen jumping once is infinitely correct. There is absolutely no contradiction here. If the claim were that the Vesuvius couldn't jump *at all*, then there would be room for a debate here... but that isn't what happened in Wing Commander IV at all.

Maybe it's a mass thing rather than a volume thing -- the Behemoth is huge but it's largely hollow. Might explain why they wanted it to travel with as little fuel as possible.

Both factor in. The inherent half life of anti-gravitons means that a "jump sphere" has a 500 meter radius... and then the mass is limited by the ships ability to generate enough anti-gravitons to push it into the tunnel.

Wing Commander nerds are definitely the upper-crust of nerddom. All others are really nothing more than geeks.
