Confused about Freelancer? It's gone through a heck of a lot of revisions since it was originally hinted at back in 1998, and it's been hard to follow at times. Well, Microsoft is so sure that the game will appeal to Wing Commander fans that they're kindly sending me to check it out. I'm heading to Austin next week along with some Freelancer fansite webmasters to give the space epic a test drive... and I'll report back to let everyone know what it's like!
