I'm about 95% sure that it isn't from the PSX WC4 edition. I speculate that it's unused footage that was meant for that edition though. It looks something like the "Extraction Of Scientists" mission early on in the game, but the PS edition lacks all those land-based missions as it couldn't handle the draw rate with planetary missions.
I'm going out on a limb and assuming they made the cut scene much like they did for the land based missions for PS WC3 and then opted to not use it and replaced it with that shitty "Photograph a space station" mission.

...I'm sure it's the one that I capped, because I "mark" all my caps so that I can tell when someone nabs them without asking permission...

Nab without permission? I wasn't intending to pass it off as my own.
[Just wondering, would re-JPEGing it (ugh) get rid of digital marks? And now I know where it's from, I'm taking it down.]
Absolutely no problem...couldn't care less. Screen caps and the such are not my primary concern when it comes to others lifting them. I mean, realistically, ANYONE could get screen caps. And given that this one is ancient by comparison to others I've done since...Originally posted by TC
I very much doubt Phoenix had any problem with you posting that in this thread![]()
It's not a digital mark. I actually put something into the image to identify it. Now, I use a transparent logo, which is very plain to see and very difficult to remove. See the WC movie caps on my site for an example of this.Originally posted by Wedge009

WC3? Not WC4?Originally posted by Bandit LOAF
It's not from the PSX version. It's just a scene that doesn't show up in WC3, like the two magazine covers...
Okay, but if it was a digital mark, would re-compressing the image kill it?Originally posted by OriginalPhoenix
It's not a digital mark.
You'd have to remember what exactly you did in each pic then, wouldn't you?Originally posted by OriginalPhoenix
...back when I capped that pic, it was more a matter of adding little things here and there in the image, things that would appear to be part of the pic, but I knew were my additions.
Not sure. I'd have to look into exactly how the digital watermark works. But my suspiscion is that, no, it wouldn't, beause the digital watermark affects the bitstream, and likely is protected from alteration.Originally posted by Wedge009

I used a fixed set of changes, so I only had to remember a few.Originally posted by Wedge009
