This has probably been covered before but I've been unable to find the thread.

What should the average poly or face count be for a fighter in Secret Ops?
 
The game *may* crash if your fighter has over 1200 triangles, so that's your safe upper limit.

That is an approximate number, though - I believe the limit is indirectly related to the number of polygons (maybe it's the number of vertices or something like that) because I have seen models with only 1210 faces crash, and models with almost 1400 faces work flawlessly.
