Broadsword was the best bomber I have flown in any game. It has the turrets to protect it from most fighters. During the bombing run it had the shield to survive the capships weapons. The best part was you didn't have to worry about torpedeo's exploding on you like the sabre which make it impossible to complete missions when you only have one torpedeo to take down a capship.
 
Morningstar. I seldom use missiles against fighters, so the light missile load doesn't bother me. Its Mace makes it a good platform for striking capships, and its firepower and manoeuvrability makes it good for taking on fighters, especially with stronger defences than the Sabre (I think).
 
Whew, another hard one! I'll also be going with the Ferret on this one, though. I'm just one of those people that likes the wade straight in with it, and see my kill score after.
 
Interesting...
months ago and always people complained about the Ferret, only one display, paper-thin armor and shields. and now he is winning here....
