expect more wc books?

do you think we can expect more wing commander books to be written by the likes of forstchen etc.... or have we had all we're going to get?

Sadly, no one is interested in publishing them.

A third Wing Commander movie novel, "Pilgrim Truth", has been written... but HarperCollins isn't publishing it.

Was Pilgrim Stars actually finished--- and if so, is there any hope of obtaining it from the author or something?

Pilgrim Stars was published in 1999. Pilgrim Truth is the complete but unpublished novel. The best we've been able to get is a complete story synopsis given to the CIC by the author.

Peter Telep hasn't been willing to publish the book online, for fear of legal reprecussions. Perhaps the fact that FOX's rights to the movie expire next year would make him change his mind?

why did william forstchen stop writing? lack of demand?

I don't think Mr. Forstchen has much of a choice -- media tie in books are 'packaged' by a licensor... since Baen hasn't licensed another package from EA, they haven't asked Forstchen to write any more books.

With no current game, there hasn't been any reason to licence the rights from Origin.
