Evil Blair at the end of WCIV??

Yeah, but, you just got rid of Tolwyn and then Blair takes his place and rages war himself, it's just not Blair

Well, considering you just spent the entire game trying to *not* be Tolwyn, and you end up just like him...

Disagree on both points. First, I don’t think we can fairly claim that Blair becomes “just like” Tolwyn. Certainly he’s depicted as being on the same or similar path that Tolwyn was on, but (just like in real life) that doesn’t/shouldn’t mean he will “end up” with the same fate. (In this regard it’s noteworthy in the scene that he only orders the Lances to fly “blanket recon”, which sounds more a tactic of intimidation than of attack.)

Second, the Blair in the scene certainly is Blair. The game/story simply posits that Blair could follow the same path as Tolwyn (depending on the decisions he makes in his life/the player makes in the game). The moral is: “There but for the grace of God . . .” A fair point, and one that complements the fact that Tolwyn himself did not start out “bad” or suddenly become so. (Reference--Action Stations and Fleet Action.)
