error message for UE is "lff::lff open file 'mission\enemy.srs' not found and not optional"

I have to play with 640x480 software mod - in virtual pc there isn't any 3D support.

Did you install UE into the same directory as Secret Ops?

i installed wcso, then i copied the wcso directory - into the copied directory i installed wcue....

The SO path is stored in the Windows registry... hence you must not move or copy it elsewhere. UE must be installed in the folder where SO was originally installed (along with the SO files, of course).
